We bought two types of “hooklift” trucks to use with all of our dumpster container transports. At Junk in the Box, we don’t believe that the status quo should remain so. Our other trucks were working just fine, but we always upgrade and invest in ourselves because we appreciate that our customers invest in us.
What’s the Difference?
Before we bought the “hooklift” trucks, we used a cable truck. That required that the operator had to pull the cable/winch system. When you use that type of system, over time, it leaves a lot of wear and tear on the cables. The new “hooklifts” also allow our operators to use them for construction and waste without having to leave the cabin or get out of the car. Therefore, we not only made things easier for our staff; but we created a more efficient way to service our customers quickly.
